About the Name
Cats n’ Dawgs is named for the “house divided” dynamic of its owners—a lifelong, good-natured rivalry between a Washington State Cougar wife and a University of Washington Husky husband. While game days may get spirited, they agree on one thing: life is better on the water. This vessel is a floating symbol of playful competition and lasting partnership. Whether she’s flying purple and gold or crimson and gray (or both), Cats n’ Dawgs proves that love can conquer all—even if one cheers for the ‘wrong’ team.
