Voyager
48′ DeFever
Experience the ongoing enhancements made by a hands-on owner including a beautifully remodeled forward stateroom and a newly replaced bridge enclosure. This vessel has been completely re-powered with twin 180hp John Deere diesel engines equipped with a synchronizer, and a new hydronic heating system in 2024.
Stylish and functional forward stateroom is recently updated and features a smart layout, retaining two bunks on the port side and adding a single lower bunk on the starboard side, accommodating up to three single bunks for sleeping or storage. An optional insert allows the two lower bunks to convert into a cozy V-berth for couples.
The iconic DeFever design is renowned in the boating community, especially in the Pacific Northwest. Enjoy impressive headroom of 6’8″ in the main salon and over 6’4″ throughout the vessel. The full bridge enclosure provides shade and wind protection, while the covered ‘Europa’-style side decks ensure a safe docking experience for your crew on this tri-cabin trawler. The aft cabin rooftop area is partially covered and a wonderful place to relax and view the scenery.
Advanced cruising features include a Garmin autopilot for effortless longer passages, this trawler boasts an impressive fuel capacity of 600 gallons, expandable to 700 gallons for extended journeys. With efficient fuel consumption of just 6 gallons per hour at 8 knots, you’ll enjoy smooth, long-range cruising.
Enjoy the convenience of large water tanks (500 gallons) and waste tanks (120 gallons), allowing you to stay comfortably at your favorite spots, even in waste-protected anchorages.
Experience ultimate comfort with a hybrid mattress in the master stateroom, along with two kayaks, one paddleboard, two folding bikes with helmets, and ample refrigeration with two large refrigerators. The vessel also features easy access on both sides and at the stern for docking or tender use. This vessel is ready to be your home away from home when exploring the San Juan Islands and beyond!
