Voyager

48′ DeFever

Improvements are continually being made by a hands-on owner. For the 2024 season the owner has remodeled the forward stateroom and replaced the bridge enclosure. This vessel has also been fully re-powered to twin 180hp John Deere diesel engines with synchronizer!

The remodeled forward stateroom is illustrated in the vessel layout. It retains the two bunks on the port side and now has a single lower bunk on the starboard side for a total of three single bunks for sleeping or storage. An optional insert converts the two lower bunks into a V-berth for a couple. Photos of the new stateroom will be posted as soon as available.

The iconic ‘flare’ of the DeFever hull is well-known throughout the boating world, and nowhere more than in the Pacific Northwest. Great headroom at 6’8″ in the main salon and better than 6’4″ throughout! Full bridge enclosure to shade from the sun, protect from the wind. Covered ‘Europa’-style side deck protection for your crew while docking on this tri-cabin trawler.

Garmin autopilot for longer passages, using this trawler’s efficient long range cruising capabilities with 600 gallon fuel capacity standard, and a maximum of 750 gallon fuel capacity for extended cruising. Fuel consumption is an efficient 6 gph @ 8 knots.

Washer and dryer, large water tanks (500 gal) and waste tanks (120 gal) to let you hang out at the right places before your next trip to shore, even in waste-protected Canadian anchorages.

More gear for you! Hybrid mattress in master stateroom for ultimate comfort, two kayaks, one paddleboard, two folding bikes with helmets, two large refrigerators and a good electronics package. Easy-access on both side and stern for docks or tender. You’ll want this vessel to become ‘yours’ year after year!
